Vanshika Babbar b. 1998

Drawing from found footage and objects collected from popular media and domestic spaces, Babbar’s work investigates the condition of middle-class life, the social absurdities produced under capitalist relations, and the ideological structures that permeate everyday existence across personal, familial, and social spheres. The materials she gathers are assembled through contradictions, humour, and irony, often presenting unresolved tensions rather than cohesive narratives.
